Island West Resort can offer you a variety of accommodations: Comfortable rooms, RV and tent sites or you may prefer to sleep in your boat while mooring it in one of our moorage slips. However you plan to spend your holiday we can offer you a comfortable place to relax at affordable rates. All of our rooms are non-smoking rooms. Our Resort is within walking distance to restaurants, galleries, whale watching tours and our own popular Eagles Nest Pub/Restaurant which overlooks the Ucluelet Inlet. We also have an on-site Laundromat for your convenience.

Drive over the causeway onto Hyphocus Island, enter your self-contained suite, and allow your West Coast getaway to unfold. Our custom designed westcoast home is nestled in the coastal rainforest on the edge of Spring Cove. While perched on your private deck, watch the tide ebb and flow as the great blue herons, bald eagles, and deer explore their natural environment. Enjoy a candle lit bath in your deep, double soaker tub, surrounded by gentle air jetted bubbles. Step out and onto heated slate floors and wrap yourself in a plush robe. From your private living area, or your bedroom, relax to the warm glow and sound of your crackling wood fire. We offer a fresh delicious breakfast to enjoy after a rejuvenating sleep.

Experience the pristine wilderness of Canada’s temperate rainforest and it’s abundant wildlife. The Pacific Rim is home and major flyway to the bald eagle and over 250 species of birds. Watch migrating whales on their journey from Mexico to Alaska and seals who live and feed in the proximity. The ocean view to the south is broken by tree covered rocks and visited by gulls, eagles, loons, cormorants and whales! Tall cedar hedges, trees, bush, and over 20 varieties of mature rhododendrons make up an exquisite and well maintained landscape. Our secluded and private estate is within walking distance to all Ucluelet amenities including the ever expanding (now 10 km) Wild Pacific Trail.

Since 1932 a small fisherman’s cottage looked out over the safe harbor of Ucluelet. For 75 years the little cottage survived the winter storms that lashed the coast and stood strong in the long days of summer. Always providing shelter and comfort to the people that called it home. In 2008 the cottage was renovated and refurbished. Now to those that stay and call it home, the same views and sounds can be enjoyed in modern comfort. Private entrance, parking, deep soaker bath tub / shower, private deck with views of the harbor and on request; an early morning call from the local Stellar Sea lions.

Habitat is a unique retreat space for coaches and trainers looking to host Ucluelet / Tofino retreats. Revisit the lessons of the day on the deck in the sun or share inspiration over an early morning coffee with an enthusiastic student. Habitat offers you the opportunity to cohabitate with your students, offering additional learning and growth opportunities that make your training retreat more potent. As Habitat’s head host I can offer turnkey accommodation, transportation, catering, marketing, and recreation for instructors that are looking to immerse small groups (4 to 6) in their teaching and benefit from an intimate home like environment.

Coveside Cabin is waterfront, facing Spring Cove. It’s located just off the Wild Pacific Trail on the south side of Ucluelet and within walking distance of the Amphitrite Point Lighthouse. Terrace Beach is a few minutes walk and Little Beach is about ten minutes in the other direction. Tofino is a 30 minute drive, through the Pacific Rim National Park, featuring some of the most beautiful beaches in Canada.

Carolyn’s Cove is nestled in two acres of rainforest on a private ocean inlet directly across from downtown Ucluelet. The main house has 3 basement walk-out suites overlooking the harbor inlet. Each suite has its own private French door entrance, with en-suite, intimate sitting area and the most comfortable bed you’ve ever slept in. We also offer an open concept Cabin located above the garage that allows for that private island getaway experience. The King Cabin has a full kitchen with living area, gas fireplace and breathtaking views of the inlet as well as the rain-forest. All accommodations have access to a hot-tub, firepit and beach. The cabins also have BBQ’s.

The Canadian Princess Lodge is a beautiful newly renovated 46 room lodge and 250 ft marina. The lodge offers a variety of rooms from standard, to lofts and suites. All rooms have amenities including private balconies and either views of the marina or garden. For those looking to bring their boat, don’t hesitate to ask us about availability at our marina for daily, weekly, or monthly guest boat moorage.
