Awesome family fun!
Finally, experience for yourself what ziplining is really all about… Located near Clayoquot Plateau Provincial Park, about 40 minutes from Ucluelet, along BC Highway 4, lies the experience of a lifetime. This is an epic adventure you will surely remember for the rest of your life! When asking visitors, that are just returning from their eco-tour, “How was it?” The answer is always the same… “AWESOME!”
Each tour is not only exhilarating and awe-inspiring, but it is also educational. Guides not only show you the ropes, with safety and well-being at the forefront, but they also give visitors a well-rounded idea of what it is that you’re looking at.
With six lines at the ready, there’s plenty of room for you to soar through the old growth rainforests, spot waterfalls along the way and feel the roar as you glide down the Kennedy River Canyon, which is home to the Winchee River. Don’t forget, you can bring your camera and/or video, as it no problem to shoot keepsake photos or videos while ziplining the skies.
Wet weather is never a problem for Ziplining, it actually makes for some of the best times to see the canyon, as the river is usually raging during these times.
Note: Ziplining has a minimum weight load of 65lbs. and goes as high as the maximum of 280lbs. A reasonable level of fitness and flexibility is needed, as there are ladders and stairs to climb at most of the platforms. As far as clothing to bring, please wear comfortable shoes, no sandals or flip-flops. Light, functional outdoor clothing is best, however, make sure that it’s not too loose so as to possibly get caught in the lines, or restrict your vision.
So grab your camera, and your family and friends and head on out to join the ranks of those that have “Soared On The Coast!”…
